Eavestrough comes in a variety of different sizes and styles.
Locally, the most common style is K style gutters. Originally being installed as a 4" system, in the 1980 we saw the introduction of a 5" machine which has continued to be the standard to this day in our area. With ever changing climates though MCF is so happy to be able to also offer 6" gutters which is becoming the new standard and the preferred route for metal roofs
There are 3 main thicknesses of aluminum that are used for gutters
1. .023 is the most commonly purchased from our suppliers as it has the widest selection of colors, and the economical solution that can hold up to most residential buildings.
2. .027 which is slightly thicker than the .023 is our standard for 6" and a nice upgrade for 5" gutters. This heavier material stands up better to the snow, oil canning, and expansion.
3. 0.32 of an inch which is the thickest aluminum that our seamless machines can form. While 032 is extremely common in the USA, it is a special order product locally.
Gutters come in a variety of style to fit the style of the house, ranging in pricing and accessibility
Copper can be used in any of the above machine to continue to give that custom look
